Our Philosophy

Our Program: “We talk by example”We are using the principles of Reward-Based Training – Positive Reinforcement, No harm and Free Fear.
Your dog won’t be fully trained in four weeks ... dog training is not a race, it is a journey of full learning & experiences. Your journey at Pets That Wow continues after puppy class. You proceed to novice, beginner, competent, proficient & finally expert level, then - who knows, the sky is the limit. You will need at least one year of training to see excellent results although you will see the results in a daily basics. Owner responsibility is forever or at least for the whole life of the pet. Dogs can learn at any age of their life, never is too old to learn something new and never is too late. Basic training could take you to discover a whole new world of fun activities to play with your dog. Dogs are companion animals and that is a relationship between two species, our training is FUNtastic, we will show you that learning experience will never end. All levels are run in 4 weeks blocks at Chatswood, if you missed one class you can catch up online for free or private at extra cost; you need to demonstrate the knowledge at the end of each level. We will set you to succeed however you need to practice, remember practice makes the master. Few minutes practice every day makes a difference. We will give you the tips and tricks on how to “Fill the cup” theory, you will practice the laws of attraction, ABC (behaviour works), you will learn a new language to communicate with your dog. You will have the tools to manage and succeed with this relationship and your dog will happy ever after! Training is a mechanical skill and the only way to master the skill is practice, practice and practice.
